This area of interaction is concerned with raising students’ awareness of the interdependence of human beings and the natural and man-made environments. It aims to help students develop an understanding of the concepts of conservation and sustainable development, how the decisions and actions affect the delicate balance of natural life support system. It also aims to help students develop attitudes and dispositions of concern and respect for the environment in the context of everyday decision-making. Environmental tips are reducing, reusing and recycling.
As part of the work for the school environment, a workshop was held on cyber bullying, for grades 6 through 10, this workshop included group discussions on cyber bullying among middle school students. The students watched a movie that highlighted this issue.
